Introduction to the Jamverse
As stated on the homepage, the Jamverse is a fictional Universe created by me, Jam Peanut. I created it to explain the story of my vtuber character, but I got more invested on the world building, as it is based around the Magical girl (Mahou Shoujo) concept.
I started production in Q1 2026, so as of right now, there isn’t much content on it, and it will probably be like that for a good while. Admittedly, I’m not the best writer, It’s easier for me to express myself visually, but good visuals can only carry a story for so long, so I’m teaching myself how to structure my stories better, and giving them a cohesive narrative. ![]()
The Main Story
The main story is still vague, and very unfinished, but it will follow Jam and his host, Michael. Jam doesn’t exist, even in his own universe, and he was created by Michael. He started out as a side character in a webcomic that Michael was hosting on his own website, but as he grew up, he stopped working on it, and he began to deeply regret that period of his life. In current day, Michael is in his mid-twenties and a bit unsatisfied with his life, he hasn’t drawn for himself in several years, mostly doing it for work. The resentment that he has for his teenage years has snowballed into something catastrophic, creating a entity so powerful it could destroy the world, when it fully formed, it took the form of Jam, and now he shares a body with his own creation, switching in and out in moments of battle.
their main conflict is that they struggle to properly synergize, because jam does not share the same thoughts as Michael (only a body), their movements are not always coordinated, when in battle, Jam can technically summon whatever weapon that he wants, but if Michael disagrees, he can force Jam to use his weapon of choice, and just because he can summon anything, does not mean he knows how to use it, he regularly fumbles, and misses the mark with most of his attacks
Jam being overpowered could be his downfall, as he does not know how to use most of his abilities, Sometimes they activate without him even knowing that they were there. (for example: he knows he has wings, but doesn’t know how to fly or properly activate them on time.)
A good portion of the story will be spent trying to get these 2 assholes to get along, they’re both incredibly stubborn, and a bit petty, but at the end of the day, the world depends on them, and they have new people in their lives that their willing to protect. Alongside his teammates, Jam faces foes that adapt with each battle, forcing him and his teammates to strategize against them, but some leave him questioning if he’s even doing the right thing by killing them.
If you want more information on the world building itself, please go to the worldbuilding page. I’ve put a lot of love into it, and it’s probably the most fleshed out thing when it comes to this project.
Other Plans for the project
“if the main story isn’t finished, how else can I enjoy this project?”
Great Question! There’s plenty of ways you can involve yourself with this project. Soon I’ll be adding resources in the “worldbuilding” and “how to create your own magical girl” pages, so that way you can immerse yourself or make your own OC!
You can also check out the character pages and read up on their personalities and backgrounds, there are 10 lovely girls to choose from so I’m certain that you’ll find one that speaks to you.
I'm also hoping to make a few browser games. The first one will be a dress up game for Jam. The second might be a short visual novel or cooking game.
Finally, I will be making short stories, comic strips, and standalone comics for the characters, so I can talk about them prior to the story, or just show you the shenanigans they get up to in their daily lives, you can check them out in the comics page whenever they release!
There will come a day where I’ll tell the main story in full, but right now that just isn’t possible. The scope is way too big, and I need to find a way to narrow it down, start (properly) planning the story, and expanding on it as I go, I only know a few story beats for certain, but I have to fill in the blanks between that. I’m also struggling to understand what medium I want to tell this story through, right now I mixed between making an animation or a comic, both will take time regardless of what I do, so I’m just trying to figure out what will bring me more enjoyment and allow me to properly express it.
